HomeHero Privacy Policy

Effective 16 June 2026

HomeHero (“we”, “us”) helps families keep their schedules in one place. We built it to be calm and private: we don’t show ads, and we don’t sell your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Information we collect

We do not collect data to track you across other apps or websites, and we do not run advertising.

How we use your information

To provide the service: show your schedule, sync your calendars both ways, detect conflicts, send the reminders and the optional weekly digest email, calculate leave-by times, and operate your account and subscription. That’s it.

Children’s information

HomeHero is for parents and guardians. Children do not create accounts or use the app. Any information about a child is entered by an adult to organize the family’s schedule, and is treated with the same protections as the rest of your account data. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.

Who we share it with (service providers)

We use a small set of providers to run HomeHero, each only for its function: Google, Apple, Microsoft (calendar sync and sign-in), [hosting provider] (application hosting), [database provider] (secure storage), [subscriptions provider] (subscription management), and [email provider] (sending the weekly digest and account emails). We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account anytime in Settings, which permanently removes your account and associated data. You can also disconnect any calendar to stop syncing it.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, and we store sensitive credentials (like app-specific passwords) encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. You can exercise the core of these in-app (edit or delete your data, delete your account) or by contacting us at [contact email].

Changes

We’ll update this policy as the app evolves and post the new effective date here. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
